LATEX BALLOONS ARE NOT MADE FROM PLASTIC
Latex is a natural plant-based product, made from natural rubber harvested from rubber tree plantations which are a renewable resource. The harvest of latex is a completely natural process. The trees are “tapped” for the liquid, similar to the harvesting of syrup. The trees are not trimmed or chopped in any way, so there’s no risk of deforestation. Trees are harvested for up to 40 years by which time new trees would have been planted to replace them.
